Maxwell Droznin

Bio

I am a general internal medicine physician and Associate Office Medical Director of the Primary Care Practice at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. I provide longitudinal primary care to patients in Baltimore and serve as a teaching attending and educator for internal medicine residents and medical students.

I completed my undergraduate studies at Stetson University, followed by a Master of Public Health at Rollins College and medical training at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. I then completed my Internal Medicine residency in the Primary Care Track at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. Before medical school, I served as an AmeriCorps VISTA developing coalitions to address poverty and health disparities in Central Florida, an experience which shaped my ongoing commitment to community-engaged research and teaching.

My research interests include community-based participatory approaches to address health disparities, hypertension in urban communities, and food security.

Outside of work, I love cooking, catching Orioles games at Camden Yards, and hitting the hiking trails. I’m always on the lookout for a great new restaurant and enjoy exploring everything Baltimore has to offer.
